Hosting Best Practices

This training is one of the required steps of our Host Certification Program. You have to be a part of the summer Host Certification Program to attend this training. If you are interested in becoming a certified host, sign up here.
In this training, our team will introduce and clarify best practices in order to support your progress as a host. We’ll talk through common challenges, role-play scenarios, and offer tips and solutions. We’ll also review the Hosting Rubric –– a tool for all hosts interested in sharpening their skills.
Pre-requisites for this training include having attended our “How to Host and Organize your own Living Room Conversation” training and having hosted at least one conversation. It makes for a more productive session if you come prepared with challenges or questions that we can talk through together as a group.
